RAYNER, Mary Jean "Penny", 93 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 27. Penny was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Burnett L. Rayner in 2003, her parents Stanley A. and Hazel K. (nee Lippincott) Pennington, brother Max Pennington, niece Nancy Thomas. Penny is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen J. and Ints Kaleps of Huber Heights, three sons Brian L. Rayner of Charlottesville, VA, Randall D. Rayner of Dayton, Bruce A. Rayner of Wooster. RAYNER, Mary Jean "Penny", 93 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 27. Penny was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Burnett L. Rayner in 2003, her parents Stanley A. and Hazel K. (nee Lippincott) Pennington, brother Max Pennington, niece Nancy Thomas. Penny is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Karen J. and Ints Kaleps of Huber Heights, three sons Brian L. Rayner of Charlottesville, VA, Randall D. Rayner of Dayton, Bruce A. Rayner of Wooster. Also surviving are her grandchildren and their spouses and partners, Monika (Thad), Kira (Paul), Amanda (Kim), Krista (Kevin), Andra, Cormi (Erik), Manuela, Giselle, Joshua (Rebecca), Ashliegh (Dave), Grae (Laura); her great-grandchildren Lija, Aris, Lydia, Ada, Livia, Kaspar, Quinten, Corben, Cora, Elijah, Izzabelle, nephews John (Carole) Pennington and Bill Thomas, dear friend Billie Lou Conard and still friends after all these years Tami and April. Penny was a graduate of Steele High School, was retired from Ohio Bell and was a member of the Second Church of Christ Scientist. Penny was a great cook, baker and homemaker who loved taking care of her family. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road, Wednesday April 1, 2015 starting at 11:30 am followed by a Celebration of her life at 1:00 pm with Chaplain James Witherington Jr. celebrant. Burial will follow in Shiloh Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Penny may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
